I'm a social worker who's crafted since I was a little kid, looking for a way to use my crafting skills in more artistic, expressive ways.

Comfortable spaces, funny people, seeing how people make things, museums, my friend Emma who makes incredible quilts.

EXPLORING:

I'm interested in doing some piecework quilting inspired by the artist and spiritualist Emma Kunz. She used a pendulum to create large scale drawings that she interpreted for clients. I'm interested in how she used lines to create curves, which seems well suited to quilting.
