BIO

Alyssa is a Chicago based theatre artist. She primarily does scenic design and painting, and she is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Sustainable Management. She hopes to play a role in helping the city’s theatre community embrace more sustainable practices, and facilitate the integration of environmental sustainability and the arts within the greater local community. Alyssa loves education, especially for young adults. She is interested in uniting people through creating and experiencing art and learning hands-on skills that could help progress a circular economy. She plans to start this with a research project studying what kinds of programming community members want and need.

Looking for extra pairs of eyes to make sure my graduate capstone project on arts community sustainability engagement is thorough, productive, and feasible, and exploring how it can evolve into an ongoing project.
