I am currently working as a play director, puppet maker. Previously a scenic designer, I had more desire to create and put strong, surreal images into plays.
I started making and directing my own performances with puppets into plays. I can create various kinds of puppets, even the Bunraku style puppets by carving woods.
I have been relentlessly creating my work with these two questions in mind: How puppet shows in postmodern society should be; and why puppets should be in plays besides actors.

I started working as a full time making big size puppets for an opera Candid.
Also working on a co-project 'Exhibition: Terror'. I will make a performance video and send it to Korea to be displayed in some experimental space. So I am looking through some play scripts and novels about diseases, or the emotion. Recently I came upon 'Plague' written by Albert Camus and there is a Full Korean audiobook in youtube read by an AI. It reminds me of the current situation so I am enchanted by the story.
